When the crap hits the fan, you will find out who your real friends are. I include all your family in this. The true worth of family is exposed in the glare of the arc lights of the justice system, more than any other test. To come though it will be, in it's self, a remarkable and rewarding achievement, to falter in the sea of broken honesty, is only human.

I found my family closed under me to support and hold my head above the water. You can only be humbled, by the courage and determination of lads inside who have lost everything they ever had. I make no apologies for feeling as I do, incarceration does not address the real cause of our bulging jails, our children have been let down by our Government giving in to the "wet" extreme. The result is mindless anarchy and a society that is so self centred it will be in flames in ten years or have every inch of housing, shops and offices covered by cctv cameras, able to identify anyone.

It will of course mean anyone not politically correct or against any government or council will be able to be monitored! Just what freedom will we have then?

Still, back to the family you hope you still have, but that time will confirm is still going to be there when you get out. Many families put through the ringer of prison, find the stress too much to handle. If your life is left with this big empty void, I can only hope you look to a new beginning and hold onto that. Nothing is lost forever if you can start again, you will have stuck two fingers up to the system!
