Whatever the end of your trial brings, "closure" will not be a part
of it. The system is geared to maximum destruction when the force of the combined
might of the professionals is thwarted.
You will find that if the social services have been involved with your family, the fact you have been cleared by a jury will not of itself have cleared you! This is seen as standard procedure within all SSD thinking, just because you have managed to deceive twelve "ordinary" blind, deaf and dumb people, means you will suffer the punishment and take your medicine!
The reasoning
behind this, is of course the fact that all the professionals working within
"the system" perceive that they cannot be wrong.
How could you live a life, knowing you might have just put someone behind bars
and ruined a whole family's future, when they may not have done any wrong?
The problem is made so much worse by the overzealousness of a large number of self-righteous and opinionated professionals who think because they have immersed themselves in statistics and physic-babble all their (adult!) lives, they are able to preach to lesser mortals, on their chosen theme for the day.
The result is broken homes and full prisons, completely the wrong containment for most of the criminal fraternity. For nothing is cured by locking people up, only preventing the inmates from continuing with their crimes, would it not be more effective if we cured society of the lawless upbringing and ineffective schooling of our children, so they have respect for others.
Beyond the
trial, should you have been sent to prison. I was brought up to believe, that
any experience no matter how horrendous must have something within it to learn.
If you hold onto that thought, while inside you can learn about a different
world; of pain, suffering, neglect, deceit and sorrow. Of hope, laughter, joy
and life, but only if you look for it!
Never give in to anger for it consumes you completely. Look to a future beyond
the trial, as a new beginning and it will arrive, if you have to work for it
against the system, when it finally arrives, it will have been worth it.
Should you be fortunate to have a family when you come out, they will be your rock, never let them forget you know it!
Should you
have lost everything while inside, rebuild it from the foundations up, stronger
and yet more flexible, just to show the world and the system, you can.
